立刻就到中秋节了，今日就和咱们共享一本和月亮有关的绘本吧，《Papa，please get the moon for me》。这本书是卡尔写给女儿Cirsten的，也是一本充溢父爱的书。
绘本以大片的深蓝色作为主色，画风依然是卡尔爷爷的招牌式拼贴画风，满满的圆月低低地挂在夜空，好像触手可及，窗前的小女孩儿望着月亮毫无睡意，一只心爱的小黑猫在月下漫步，故事以小女孩儿睡前一个不经意的主意最初，＂I wish I could play with the moon！＂天然引进故事情节，爸爸将Monica放在膀子上和Monica伸手够月亮的背影温馨地向人们展现了父爱如山的共同情感。
作者及著作：
本书的作者又是咱们耳熟能详，如雷贯耳的Eric Carle。Eric Carle年近40才开端真实创造他的第一部儿童文学著作《1,2,3to the Zoo》，到现在为止，他现已创造了70余部著作，并屡次荣获多项国际闻名儿童文学奖，他最拿手用拼贴的方法，层叠出亮堂欢喜的图样，许多书中带有特别的立体、摺页规划，既能读又能玩。他的创造流露出幼稚般的单纯，表达出对天然的酷爱和了解，辅导孩子从周围的事物中学习。现在，咱们介绍过的他的著作有：

Before Monica went to bed she looked out of her window and saw the moon.
有一天晚上，小姑娘莫妮卡正要上床睡觉，忽然，她透过窗户看到了天上的月亮。
The moon looked so near.
看起来间隔莫妮卡非常非常地近。
"I wish I could play with the moon," thought Monica
“好想和月亮玩啊。”莫妮卡说着。
and reached for it.
把自己的小手向月亮伸去。
But no matter how much she stretched, she could not touch the moon.
但是，她伸啊伸啊，怎样也都够不到月亮。
"Papa," said Monica to her father,"Please get the moon for me."
“爸爸，你帮我把月亮摘下来好吗？”她对爸爸撒娇说。
Papa got a very long ladder.
所以，爸爸就找来一个好长好长的梯子。
He carried the very long ladder towards a very high mountain.
然后，爬到了一个很高很高的山上。
Then Papa put the very long ladder on top of the very high moutain.
他把长长的梯子搭在了高高的山顶上，不停地往上爬着爬着。
Up and up and up he climbed.
总算，爸爸爬到了月亮上。
Papa climbed up the ladder.
Finally, Papa got to the moon,
终究，爸爸总算抵达了月亮上，
"My daughter Monica would like to play with you,“
我的女儿特别想和你一同玩。
“but you are much too big" said Papa.
不过，你这么大，我无法带回去啊”。他对月亮说。
"Every night I get a little smaller," said the moon.
月亮说话了：“我每天晚上都会变小一点。
"When I am just the right size you can take me with you."
等我变得差不多巨细的时分，你就能够把我带回去了。”
And, indeed, the moon got smaller and smaller.
公然，从那之后，月亮越来越小，
and smaller.
越来越小。
When the moon was just the right size,

Papa took it.
爸爸摘到月亮，拿在手中。
Down and down and down he climbed.
一点点从梯子上面爬了下来。

and finally itdisappeared altogether.
最终呼得一下消失了。
Where is the moon?
Maybe it's behind the cloud.
Then, one night, Monica saw a thin sliver of the moon reapear.
几天之后，莫妮卡在天上发现了纤细的月亮。
Each night the moon grew.....
月亮每天晚上都在渐渐变大，渐渐变大……
and grew..
渐渐变大……
and grew..
渐渐变大……
下面一些月相知识和英语单词仅供参考：
New moon -- 新月
Waxingcrescent -- 蛾眉月（月亮右侧1-49%可见）
First quarter -- 上弦月（月亮右侧一半可见）
Waxing gibbous -- 盈凸月（右侧51-99%可见）
Full moon -- 满月（这一天要摆酒、请客、收红包......of course joking lah）
Waning gibbous -- 亏凸月（左边99-51%可见）
Last quarter -- 下弦月（左边一半可见）
Waningcrescent -- 残月
*以上都是北半球的月亮形状。南半球相反。
*wax 和 wane别离表明月亮从缺到圆、从圆到缺的进程，所以英语顶用 wax and wane这个词组表明事物的兴衰，可谓非常恰当逼真。
